About OneJob Tools
Updated 30 October 2026
OneJob Tools is a small collection of free web tools. Each tool does one job: download the images from a YouTube post, take the em dashes out of ChatGPT text, open a DXF file, turn a photo into a stencil, estimate a class action settlement payment, and so on. You open the page, use it, and leave. There is no account to create.
Who makes it
One indie developer, not a company or an agency. I build a tool when I find people searching for something that has no simple, free answer, and I keep the ones people actually use. The site went live in October 2026. I also make IdeaPanner, a tool that checks whether a product idea is worth building.
How the tools work
Most tools run entirely in your browser: files you open and text you paste stay on your device and are never uploaded. The YouTube Post Downloader is the exception: it uses a small server to read a public post or channel, and it doesn't store the link. The privacy page has the details.
Where the numbers come from
When a page gives facts, such as settlement amounts, deadlines or file limits, it takes them from the primary source (a court filing, an official settlement website, a file format specification) and links to it. If a source doesn't say something, the page says it doesn't know rather than guessing. If you spot a mistake, tell me and I'll fix it.
How the site pays for itself
The tools are free. Pages show a few ads from Google AdSense, which cover hosting and the time it takes to build new tools. Ads never block a tool, and no tool is put behind a paywall.
Not legal or financial advice
Estimators and checkers on this site explain public information. They aren't legal, tax or financial advice, and this site isn't connected to any court, settlement administrator or company named on it.
